A therapy in which a glass or plastic cup is attached to the skin's surface.  Cupping has the function of warming and promoting free flow of Qi and blood in the meridians, dispelling cold dampness and diminishing swellings and pains. It is mainly used to treat lower back, shoulders, and legs, gastrointestinal disorders, asthma and repiratory infections.
